While wearing your official event wristband, you'll tour participating restaurants, each serving a tasting menu, and no bill ever arrives. Attendees are also welcome to dine from award-winning food trucks and enjoy a free water ice dessert at the Detroit Water Ice Factory. Walk between restaurants, or hop on shuttle buses for longer distances between Downtown and Corktown.

In a special treat this year, VIP will start the night early with dining from Marrow and Leña at an exclusive cocktail reception hosted in Michigan Central Station's newly restored and opulent Grand Hall, and return there to sip champagne and enjoy dessert from MAD NICE, Prime + Proper, and Townhouse Detroit at the end of the night. General admission may purchase add-on tickets to attend the dessert party (limited availability).

Greeting you at each restaurant — and on the shuttles and route stops — will be volunteers wearing official event aprons. EAT Detroit is a volunteer-powered event modeled (with permission!) after World Central Kitchen's Dine-N-Dash from chef José Andrés.
